"No Small Matter" viewing in Parkersburg focuses on importance of child care for businesses
A common challenge faced by many West Virginians with kids or aging parents is how to juggle taking care of loved ones while still working. Seeking solutions to this nationwide challenge, WV Forward and partners are examining the accessibility and affordability of dependent care services in the state. Today, WVU-Parkersburg is bringing together employers and child care providers to highlight the importance of accessible childcare to businesses.
The event will also offer a viewing of "No Small Matter," a documentary that spotlights the value of dependent care, particularly for young children, and the benefits to the social and economic future of West Virginia and America.
