Women Moving Forward tips, progress and thanks

In February, philanthropist Laurie Erickson hosted the launch of WV Women Moving Forward, an effort to empower women in the workplace. Data show that our state's economy cannot thrive without greater participation by talented women. The effort is moving full steam ahead to take action on issues including education, wages and workforce barriers. Stay tuned for a six-month progress report this August!

Until then, check out this resource tip from Laurie: The New York Times' working woman's handbook is chock-full of information about balancing work and making the most of your career, your value, support and more.

Huge thanks to leaders from every corner of West Virginia who have already volunteered hours and hours of time, resources and expertise in their working groups to advance this effort. You are moving us toward a better future.

Be part of something bigger.

We want to hear from you. Share your ideas. Stay informed. Help us move West Virginia Forward.
