Partner Spotlight: Dress for Success River Cities, And special thanks

Thanks to Dress for Success River Cities for partnering with WV Forward to help lead these efforts. As Executive Director Jessica Hudson recently said, "A blazer to some is a life jacket to others." By identifying and providing in-demand workforce apparel - from blazers to scrubs, and a particular need for plus sizes - coupled with interview tips and resume building, simple gestures often add up to much greater impacts.

WV Forward thanks Jessica for co-chairing the WV Women Moving Forward Workforce Barriers sub-group on networking clothing resources and support statewide.

"I have seen first-hand how transformative a pair of steel-toed boots or a freshly cleaned suit can be to those who are striving to reach their full potential and find purpose in their work. I'm proud to be working with WV Forward to help empower women across the state who are taking steps to enter or re-enter the workplace," said Hudson.
