It's the simple things: Interview resources and beyond

Prospective employees sometimes get held up by seemingly little things. People entering the workforce for the first time, re-entering after an addiction or returning after caring for loved ones need access to work clothes that may be costly or unavailable in their areas. Donation closets around the state know that better links to special in-demand work clothing, pick up and distribution help and  interview and resume support are needed.

WV Forward is teaming up with organizations to create a resource network to identify resources, transportation for donation pick up and a statewide clothing drive for the most needed items, ranging from uniforms to special sizes and work shoes.

PLEASE HELP BUILD THE NETWORK OF WV RESOURCES THAT MEET HIGH-DEMAND NEEDS.

WV Forward will post and link to organizations across West Virginia that offer work clothes and related help.

You can help by sending us any information on clothing closets in your area to wvforward@mail.wvu.edu. Also let us know if your organization is interested in hosting a clothing drive for specially identified work apparel.

Be part of something bigger.

We want to hear from you. Share your ideas. Stay informed. Help us move West Virginia Forward.
