Summer Care! Getting to Work when Kids are Out of School
Continuing efforts to tackle workforce barriers identified by employers to attract and retain a reliable workforce, WV Forward is working with a statewide team of volunteers to help parents as they cobble together summer child care options when school is out.
During the critical time when parents are scrambling to put summer calendars together that help them stay at work, we will post a list of statewide summer care options, including programs offered by WVU, Marshall University and others accredited through the American Camp Association. While this list is only a start, it hopefully gives parents a hand in balancing work and family.
