Marshall, Hope Community Development Corporation look to poverty solutions in Charleston's inner city

Aimed at improving Charleston's inner city through education, employment, training, economic development and spiritual renewal, the Hope Community Development Corporation partnered with Marshall University to host the Poverty and Public Policy Solutions Symposium. 

Dr. Kelli Johnson, co-director of Marshall’s President’s Commission on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, said attendees focused on identifying issues and finding solutions for a variety of topics associated with poverty in the Mountain State.
