Conference to focus on expanding aerospace footprint of Tri-State
Join the Robert C. Byrd Institute and Marshall University for the Appalachian Next Generation Aerospace Conference on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington. This inaugural conference will focus on developing and creating new business opportunities for the aerospace industry in West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio. Hosted in conjunction with the West Virginia Development Office and the Huntington Area Development Council, the conference will include panel discussions with national experts who will delve into issues of supply chain development, new and emerging technologies, aerospace cybersecurity and workforce opportunities in an effort to establish a major aerospace cluster in the Tri-State region.
