WV Forward Principals Update Statewide Leaders
Presidents E. Gordon Gee of WVU and Jerome A. Gilbert of Marshall University joined forces on the road last week to update leaders across the state on WV Forward's evolving work and joint efforts.
They held an open discussion with members of the WV Bar Association, reiterating how education, health and prosperity are not three separate issues, but rather they are the three interwoven strands that make up our state’s fabric.

Later in the week, the university presidents delivered remarks to business leaders and government officials at the opening day of the Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Business Summit. While sharing some signposts from WV Forward's journey, they unveiled WV Forward's latest progress report and encouraged business, government and state leaders to further engage and contribute to moving WV Forward.
