Girl Scouts take action to ensure young girls can become powerful women in WV

The Girl Scouts of the Black Diamond Council and WVU hosted “State of the Girl,” an event centered on addressing critical questions about what we can do to improve the future of girls in West Virginia, particularly concerning diversity/inclusion, health, STEM and education. Based on data from a landmark study conducted by the Girl Scouts of the USA, influential women across WV from all backgrounds joined with the Girl Scouts to explore how every West Virginia girl can grow up to be a rock star.
